Surround yourself with woods, water, and river stones and see how your mind clears and your imagination takes flight! Join fiction writer and nature-lover Ashleigh Pedersen as we explore the Greenbelt, taking time to sit by the water and put pen to paper. Writing prompts will be provided, but students are encouraged to work on any ongoing personal writing projects if they choose! We will have a blast, and students will leave feeling invigorated and inspired.

Cost: $95/student (sliding scale available; please ask).

Registration deadline: Feb. 18, 2016

How to register: Email Ashleigh at writewellaustin@gmail.com and/or Paypal payment directly to this email, accompanied with your child’s name and your email address.

What to bring: Snack or sack lunch, bottled water, pen/paper, layered clothing, and SHOES YOU CAN GET WET. This workshop will be rescheduled in the event of rain, but otherwise we will venture out whether it is cold or warm— students should come prepared with layers! (Also: wear sunscreen—Austin sunlight burns, even in the winter!)
