In this week long workshop, we’ll be generating new poems, stories, and creative non-fiction at BookPeople’s cafe. We’ll also draw inspiration for our writing by taking excursions to the Contemporary Museum to visit Abraham Cruzvillegas “Autoconstrucción” installation (inspired by his family’s self-built home) as well as down to Lady Bird Lake to hike around and to see Ai Weiwei’s sculpture “Forever Bicycles.” Recommended age: Rising 9th – Rising 12th Grade.
Early bird pricing: $265/student if registered by April 22.
Standard pricing: $290/student if registered after April 22. Deadline for registration is June 1.
Camp holds 10 students max.
