Join fiction writer and Write Well Austin founder Ashleigh Pedersen for a half-day retreat at the magical Writing Barn! The workshop is designed for adults of any ability as writers who want to explore writing as a means of getting present to ourselves and the natural world around us.

Writing prompts will allow participants to connect with our current state of being—whether processing a difficult work week, coping with a recent personal challenge, or inquiring further into longer-term personal growth—and to observe and describe our current sensory and internal experience. With optional sharing, the support that arises organically from a positive group dynamic, and ample stretches of time to explore the majestic live oaks, juniper trees, and pockets of woods that surround the beautiful Writing Barn, we will slow our fast-moving minds, settle into our bodies, and root down into the present moment. There will also be time to explore the creative possibilities that await us after settling into this more centered head space.

Tea, coffee, and tasty, nutritious snacks will be provided. Participants must bring their own lunch. $155/person (final registration deadline: March 24th). To register or inquire further, email Ashleigh Pedersen at writewellaustin@gmail.com.
