WWA-150121-Austin-Texas-113256-EditWriting has a way of opening up our inner worlds and beckoning us to explore and express them.

In this workshop, we’ll explore poetry, fiction, and nonfiction written by women. Writers will leave with a sense of creative empowerment, inspiration, and a stronger knowledge of the writing craft. The magical Writing Barn provides an especially inspiring space to meet, with large oak trees, a huge screened in porch, plenty of cool, comfortable indoor space, and a full kitchen.

$240/person. Register via PayPal (writewellaustin@gmail.com) and include name/email address, or email Ashleigh at writewellaustin@gmail.com to pay by check or credit card. Space is limited.

Please bring your preferred writing device. Pens and paper are encouraged in addition to any electronic devices. You are welcome to bring food along with you as well. Tea and light snacks will be provided.

Sample Workshop Itinerary:

  • 6:30pm: Discuss craft*
  • 7:00pm: Writing prompt
  • 8:00pm: Discuss & share

*Reading assignments will be e-mailed in advance of the workshop, along with discussion prompts.
