This workshop is designed for fiction writers who are looking for an inspiring and structured space in which to create new work.

Have you been having trouble connecting with inspiration or just finding the time and focus to write? If so, this class is perfect for you!

In each workshop session, we delve into the best practices that support a strong and sustainable writing routine, as we look at the strategies and structures that best help support creativity in your life. We then engage with a writing prompt designed to generate rich ideas for your fiction. After completing the writing prompt, we focus in on the aspects of craft that can propel your work to completion: characterization, plot, narrative tension, dialogue, and theme—to name just a few!

Over the course of the workshop, each writer will have the opportunity to submit one piece of work for instructor feedback, and they’ll have the opportunity to chat with me about their writing in a 20-minute one-on-one conference.

Writers leave this workshop with a wealth of new story ideas, increased creative momentum, and an enhanced understanding of the craft of fiction.
