Engaging, lively fiction writing workshops for middle and high school writers looking to take their fiction to the next level.
Read and discuss contemporary short stories, dive into writing exercises, write and revise one 10-20 page short story, and receive one-on-one instructor feedback on rough and final story drafts.
Students will leave stronger, more confident writers, and develop a passion for the art of the short story. For writers at all levels; only a strong curiosity about fiction writing is required!
8 workshops*/4 weeks: $325/student
MS students (rising 7th-rising 8th) meet Mon. & Wed., 6:30-9:00pm
HS students (rising 9th-rising 12th) meet Tue. & Thur., 6:30-9:00pm
*workshops cap at ten students.
